Which Polymer80 frame fits which Glock: the complete fitment table
The single most common reason an 80% pistol build stalls is a frame bought for the wrong slide. Polymer80 frames are cut for Gen 3 Glock slides and parts, and each frame family maps to a short list of models. This table is the one we use at the bench.
Pistol frames
| Frame | Gen 3 slides | Magazines | Size |
|---|---|---|---|
| PF9SS | G43 | 6-round G43 | Single-stack carry |
| PF940SC | G26, G27 | G26 10-round; G19/G17 with sleeve | Subcompact |
| PF940C | G19, G23, G32 | G19 15-round and larger | Compact |
| PF940v2 | G17, G22, G24, G31, G34, G35 | G17 17-round and larger | Full-size |
| PF45 | G20, G21 | 13 and 15-round | Large, 10mm / .45 |
What about Gen 4 and Gen 5 slides?
They do not drop on. Gen 4 slides use a dual recoil spring assembly and a different frame cut; Gen 5 adds a flared magwell and no finger grooves. Conversion kits exist for some combinations, but the cleaner path is to buy a Gen 3 slide, which is what most aftermarket slides are anyway.
The lowers
The RL556v3 and G150 Phoenix2 are both mil-spec AR-15 80% lowers and accept any standard upper, lower parts kit and buffer tube. The difference is grip and jig: the RL556v3 uses a threadless grip design and its own jig; the G150 has an integrated trigger guard and a threaded buffer housing with the G150 jig. The LR-308 is DPMS-pattern only; Armalite-pattern uppers will not fit.
How to check before you buy
Look at the slide you own, find the model on its left side, and match it to the table. If the slide is aftermarket, its listing will say which Gen 3 model it copies. If you are still unsure, email us the slide model and we will confirm the frame before you pay.
